Howard is an excellent therapist. He is always professional and his no nonsense direct approach really resonates with me and my partner. His experience and intuition are very apparent. It never feels like he is taking sides but he doesn't shy from honest feedback. He steers the session in such a way that every visit is very helpful and insightful.

A no-BS counselor. He'll listen appropriately, and interject when a more productive path towards resolution is available. He understands the form of counseling that works best for me (rational-emotive) and co-designs options and next steps to help me address my immediate and longer-range concerns.

I was in therapy with Howard for more than ten years, in two blocks. When my life was in order, it was fine. But I hit a crisis in divorce. At the moment I most needed someone to talk to - I was fired. In the year since, I have asked Howard for a referral to a new psychologist. He refuses to talk to me. Because I am one of his failures. Howard loves success. I needed him. He fired me by email. At a time when I most needed his support. My job of 30 years...gone
