I had a great experience with Hugh. He was quick, efficient and responsive to my needs.

Very ignorant and uncaring doctor. Do NOT do not do any procedures with him. He Initially misdiagnosed me with a fungal infection for rashes and I pointlessly took antifungal medication for a week. With no improvements, I self-diagnosed myself with pityriasis rosea and I asked him how to confirm it. He suggested a skin biopsy without telling me it's a serious procedure that would gouge me and leave a nasty scar. He made it sound like it a minor procedure that would just scrape the skin. He should have told me not to do the biopsy since pityriasis rosea heals on its own in few weeks and I just got the rashes. He left me with a large gouged hole in my abdomen by doing an unnecessary biopsy which is becoming a large nasty keloid scar. It took 2 weeks to get the biopsy results by which time my rashes had pretty much healed. He didn't provide any instruction on how to take care of the biopsy site or minimize scarring nor seemed to care. I feel so stupid for going to him.

I understand other people have had different experiences but my experience with Hugh has been great. He listens to what I have to say, is open to providing referrals if necessary, and he’s on top of requested prescriptions.

I was in about a recent Mva. He asked how I was and I stated I was still experiencing pain and started explaining that my work schedule was a factor and he cut me off and stated I was making excuses for not doing enough PT exercises which is simply not true. He could not even know this as he would not let me finish one sentence without interruption. He was rude, condescending, and I left the office in tears after being in the appointment less than 60 seconds. I've never felt so disrespected in a medical setting.

I was a little hesitant at first but after my second appointment with him we both talked casually a little more. He’s got a great personality once you get chatting with him. My doctor I was trying to move away from kept trying to switch up my meds constantly and blowing me off. Hugh was good with my medications and didn’t try to push me to change them. It was nice to find a doctor that understood that I have tried so many other things and that what I’m taking now works well for me. He has an assistant that comes in and takes notes and also schedules my next visit on the spot. All the staff are amazing and super friendly. Not sure what’s up with the other reviews. I just don’t see any of that with him and the staff there. The clinic overall had great reviews on other sites and I can see why.

I have been a patient for 6 - 9 months. In that time, this clinic, along with Dr. Hugh Gapay have honestly given me the worst care I have ever received in my life. In regards to patient care. If you are expecting to be properly cared for, make sure to decline Dr. Hugh Gapay. He is not thorough in his care or notes about patients. This unfortunately also includes the administrative staff. The follow through is non-existent here. Not sure if it's something that everyone goes through or if it has anything to do with me being an minority. Either way, there are better options for care from providers that will make you feel like you matter. This clinic along with Dr. Hugh Gapay, just will not. Even when they know they are wrong. You simply don't matter, they just don't care.

Him and the staff are caring, courteous, efficient and professional. They value my time as much as their own and do not leave their patients stacked up and waiting.

Hugh and his staff are friendly and professional and go out of their way to be kind and helpful. I highly recommend!!!

I thought he was one of the best doctors I've seen in a long time. He listened, was compassionate picked up that my thyroid count was off and had been for years yet no other doctor had mentioned it.

DO NOT schedule with this PA. Really wish I would have looked at these reviews when I was suggested to follow up with Hugh Gapay. He does not know what he is doing. He will read you the test results you already have in your hand and can read yourself. When you ask what the next step is he tell you wow that sucks. Money is all he is about. Don't give him yours. The absolute worst experience ever. He even got mad at my husband for asking questions.

I received the worse care from him out of any PA I can remember. He was quick to diagnose without listening to the symptoms, has no compassion, was wrong about the diagnoses on two occasions, and it would take days to hear back from him using the portal communication. He also near retirement and seems to not care anymore. If you are just two minutes late, he will not see you.

This guy is one of the worst “PA’s I have ever met. He doesn’t seem to be educated about anything related to health. I thought I had a blood clot and he made it very difficult for me to get a referral. Then when he found out I was right his message to the clinic was “tell her she can go ahead and go home.”. So if you value your life do not go see this guy. Currently he’s at SW Family Physicians although I doubt for much longer.
