I was told by Dr. L that my child would benefit from very costly (approx. $7,500.00 worth) vision therapy at her clinic; preceded by a $500 test. It was not forced upon us but definitely given as an option to help our child. Before going this route, we took our child for a second opinion with a different and very reputable eye doctor who said that eye therapies can be done at home - for free. After performing a full exam, the second opinion doctor said that my child not only did not need home therapies but did not even need the glasses that Dr Lorenzana recommended. She said that my child either didn't have the problems that Dr L. saw, or if so, they were so minimal that she didn't think it needed treatment. While I understand that different medical professionals may have differing opinions, my trust factor of Dr L. went down to ZERO & we will not be using her again. Get a second opinion!!
