I had a similar experience to another 1-star review entitled 'Wants EASY WORK.' After a few sessions that were generally good and positive (despite some issues with Landau's lack of careful listening, see below...), in our final session Landau stated that he felt I was disagreeing with everything he said, said he could no longer continue working with me, and hung up on me, abruptly ending the session early. I was not disagreeing with him, simply drilling down on details and specifics, which was an issue we had had in our previous sessions: like the other reviewer, I felt Landau didn't carefully listen, so I often needed to clarify and adjust his statements about me to better reflect my internal experience. It was a shocking thing to be 'fired' by this man, and I'm glad we worked together only a short time, as that kind of sudden rejection can be deeply damaging and hurtful once a relationship is more established. I very strongly do not recommend working with this man.

This man doesn’t listen. I told him I was going to school for law & every session he would try and talk me out of it. He states he has experience in substance abuse but discontinued services in the one day I called “crying” this is the reason why everyone wants to speak with specific types of people or don’t want to speak to therapist at all. I’m strong so things of this nature dont affect me but what if I was suicidal and the one day I called a clinical psychologist for help they discontinue services? Seems like he just took this job so he could get paid easily. He gives no tools. He doesn’t really listen. After you say something he has to interject and respond. Literally after everything u say. You can’t even get full sentences out. STAY AWAY
