Dr. Birey was my counselor for a couple years and was very helpful in teaching me various tools in dealing with my depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. I have visited several counselors in the past and Dr. Birey has been the most helpful. She made me feel comfortable and showed a great amount of empathy toward what I was dealing with. I felt like she truly understood my pain. I highly recommend her as a counselor.
