Isha Chawla, MSPT

I absolutely love Isha. She has been a huge help to me. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and my joints don't like to stay in place at all. I'm fused C1-C7, and she's been able to help me properly do isometric exercises to help strengthen my neck safely. She has also been helping me work on strengthening my core, how to more safely do things for my body, and improving any problem areas I have. Isha also is amazing at helping me put myself back together when I cannot. Recently my pelvis was very misaligned causing a lot of back pain and one of my legs to be shorter than the other, and she was able to fix it for me. She's given me advice on different ways to sleep and different things to use that, despite being in the EDS community for over a decade, I had not heard of or tried yet, and that made a massive difference toward improving my quality of life. She accepts insurance as well, and will even file for reimbursement for you to make the patient's life easier. I highly recommend her!

I have been working with Isha at Bella Physical Therapy for about 2 months now and I could not be happier with the results I am seeing. When I first started, I was feeling very negative and discouraged but Isha championed me through tough times with kindness, professionalism and a warmth that led to a trust which was necessary for me to reach my goals. Isha was wonderful. She was very thorough and knowledgeable and resolved my left leg issues. I was lucky; Isha was training an intern (Rachel) who was also great.

I have been working with ISHA, who has a degree in MSPT and has special training in PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) that she uses to benefit both her Neuro and Ortho patients. She has me working on the floor and gym equipment for my balance, walking, and improving my core. She has been teaching me how to massage my own foot, and to mobilize the joints of my foot to increase circulation and promote relaxation. This has definitely helped reduce my pain from my foot Dystonia.
