Treated horribly
My JP drain I just had placed due to a surgery I had to remove my rectal cancer caught on my pants and started to come out. The drain had to come out anyways so I tried to pull it out myself. It hurt really bad so I went into the ER to have it numbed. Jac gave the numbing medications and waited 5 seconds before ripping it out, bandaging it up, and walked out without saying anything else as I was sobbing because it hurt so bad. He was not compassionate at all and made me feel like I wasn’t worth his time. I am 25 years old

Awful experience
Provider was not personable at all. Poor communication. Made us feel that we shouldn't be there. Gave instructions to continue on medication even though it was obvious it was causing rare potentially dangerous side effects. Was disconnected with odd behavior.

Bipolars Beware
He literally told me “you can’t prevent mania” when I had to go to the ER due to medication side effects. Then why are bipolars on mood stabilizers? Please don’t give us any reason to completely stop our mood stabilizers, ever. I hope he never says this to another bipolar patient, as this disease can be tragic if not properly managed.
