I struggle with hormonal acne and I had heard great things an about advanced dermatology. When I went in for my appointment, Jacob barely looked me in the eyes and did not even look at my skin. He wrote up a regimen that he said he uses for everyone. When I asked if it would affect my hormones, he dismissed my concerns, and then left after a consultation lasting less than 5 minutes. When I said wow that was quick as he was leaving, he turned around and said “yeah I read a book on it once” and then shut the door. After some research and personal side effects, I found that the medication he prescribed had a large effect on my hormones- a concern he didn’t address when I brought it up. I was so disappointed, and being in the healthcare field, I hold my fellow physicians to a much higher standard than the care I received in this office.

Jake was very professional and was able to quickly provide solutions to multiple problems. I couldn't have asked for better service.

I have never visited a dermatologist prior to today. My personal skin health has played a huge role in my self image. Jake did an excellent job explaining my treatment plan and listening to me. He was very intentional about being open and creating a plan specifically for me!
