Dr. Westcott is one of the best doctors I have met. She has great bedside manners. She gets 5/5 Her office staff is horrible and constantly make mistakes. They screwed up the actual order from the trial lenses, which were perfect. The lenses that were ordered, and fairly expensive (approx $160 after insurance were completely wrong. I had to go back to Dr. Westcott. She realized what had happened and ordered new trial lenses. She also told me I could return the unused lenses that were sealed. I just called and was told by a person on her staff that Dr. Westcott didn't know the policy of accepting unused lenses and I would have pay the full price (about $400) since I had already used up my allowance. Thoptometrist office is equally horrible. My wife ordered her glasses with the wrong strength. Since it was within 30 days, they ordered a replacement pair which were worse. Again, since we had to used up th insurance, we had to pay an extra $150 to fix the mistake that they made.

I am so happy to be Dr. Westcott’s patient. After moving to Florida she came highly recommend and I am glad I listened. She genuinely cares about her patients and always takes as much time as needed for exams and to explain thoroughly. I recently had a baby and my eyes just didn’t feel right (sensitive and dry) She made the time to work me into her busy schedule, making me feel as if she took a special interest in me, although I know this is how she is for all of her patients. We found the right treatment course and I now live comfortably back in my contacts. Turns out when you are postpartum even your eyes can change on you.

Dr. Westcott is excellent! I’ve had bad experiences with other optometrists, but she really listened and solved an issue I’ve had in one visit!

Dr. Westcott is the most incompetent eye doctor I have ever used, she read my original scrip backwards, rushed me through the exam and then gave me the wrong new script, I am a +250 and she gave me a +300. She has never addressed this issue, has my 3 pairs of glasses and has kept my money, what a horrible incompetent doctor.

I asked Dr Westcott why aren’t you giving me enough time to respond to each slide, ie: can you see better with 1 or 2? Her answer was I’ve been doing this a long time and I know which slide is better because of you’re hesitation in each response. Don’t waste your time and money for the wrong diagnosis.

Dr. Westcott was patient and courteous with my 8 yr old son. Explained he needed glasses only for reading. After 5 months he failed the vision test at school with his glasses on (could only see 80/20 with them on!). We revisited her and she cried terribly in front of my children demanding it wasn’t her fault. Took him to my eye doctor and discovered that he has a multitude of eye problems that need immediate intervention by a specialist with patching & possible surgery. I would never recommend.
