He talked 90% of the time, asked questions to dig up a traumatic experience to then make sweeping statements about it being the cause of my problems, assumed a lot about my life and what I haven't done to fix my issues, talked down to me as though I were not self-introspective or self-aware, and dismissed my non-faith. This was the first therapy session I have ever had, and if I based all therapy on this experience, I would not seek out therapy again. Luckily, I have heard great things from friends about good therapists, so I will continue to find a more well-suited and genuinely helpful therapist.
