Lacking knowledge
Hoke did not come across as competent. He assumed I had high glucose even though I'd eaten before the visit, not knowing I would have to take a blood test beforehand. When I explained that to him, he said high glucose is a side effect of the drug he prescribed me, but I did not take the drug prior to the blood test... Whether it was lack of attention or lack of knowledge, the experience was disappointing. A nice guy, but I have little confidence in his competence as a Nurse practitioner.
