For the first time after many negative experiences with other providers, I was finally listened to and helped by James.He is attentive and knowledgeable, and showed a great degree of care at every visit.

Irresponsible and Dangerous
Telehealth
He is a kind person, but he seemed to forget who I was every single appointment. I saw him about once per month and each time he asked me what my diagnoses were, what medication I was on, what my name was, etc. It was also revealed to me by my new psychiatrist that he was prescribing me medication irresponsibly. He would put me on and take me off medicine abruptly sometimes with no weaning, even with a medicine known to be particularly risky. I also constantly complained of unstable mood, but instead of getting to the point and diagnosing me with cyclothymia like my current psychiatrist, he played a dangerous game of frequently changing my medicine to combat my mood, which only made my mood swings worse. The 15 minute appointment time slots were no help either.
