Dr. James Sheffer III, DC

I was referred to Dr. Sheffer by a friend, for what felt like a dislocated hip. I was struggling to place weight on it, much less walk. Dr. Sheffer immediately located and rectified my issue, then continued to adjust other areas I had no clue needed his attention. I left feeling 100% better than upon entering. The coolest thing though, wasn’t even related to my hip. For months, I have been taking PT for dibilitating dizziness and imbalance. With no diagnosis, direction, or hope after a brain MRI, CT scans, blood work, multiple specialist interventions, even a 4-hour Vestibular Function test…my dizziness continued. It is now gone since Dr Sheffer stated, “…it’s from your neck” and adjusted me! After one quick chiropractic treatment by this doctor, (I’ve gone to many chiropractors) I have not had one episode of dizziness or imbalance and my hip is so much better I can walk without fear of falling! I’m hooked on Dr. Sheffer’s help! He is my answer to prayer!

No one else has helped my neck as well as Dr Sheffer. He is well worth seeing for stiff neck or headaches.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sheffer to everyone! Reasonably priced and terrific doc! I first saw him because I had been getting dizzy and was in a lot of pain. He was fantastic about explaining what he saw in my x-rays (I was a mess!) and his plan for helping me "straighten out." After just my first visit, I walked away with no more dizziness, but I continue to see him on a regular basis because I know bodies will not stay put and I can always rely on him to make me feel better, even if I don't think I need it. Plus, he is just an amazingly caring gentleman who makes me feel as though I am his entire focus while I am there. We have good conversations and a lot of laughs, too. Oh, and Debbie and Alana are super sweet at the front desk!

Dr Sheffer has cared for our family since we moved back to the area more than 3 years ago. He takes time to listen, is knowledgeable, highly capable and embraces the healthy choices he recommends to his patients.

Dr. Sheffer is very compassionate and knowledgeable and has helped me with my headaches and when my mid back is in spasm as well. I have sent several friends to him since I first began seeing him. I like having the neck adjustment done with the the Orthogonal device as it is much more gentle than my previous experiences with chiropractic adjustment. He is also open to advising about nutrition and how to improve your health in various ways.
