I don't feel that she really had my best interest at heart. She breezed through my trauma and didn't really address it. My current BH team say they think she may have opened up my trauma and didn't help me deal with it properly. She even snickered a little when I mentioned I thought I might have bipolar disorder. She told me I didn't. I was eventually diagnosed with bipolar I by three separate doctors. I also suffer from PTSD. I went a very long time without proper treatment and progressively deteriorated, all because one therapist didn't take my concerns seriously. It's hard to see how fast you're falling as you spiral. Considering how complex other doctors and therapists have told me my case is, I feel like she should have sent me elsewhere if she couldn't handle my mess.
