My "consult" did not include an acupuncture treatment as I was told it would when scheduling the appointment . I brought recent lab work and a detailed health history with me. Dr. Yarger reviewed and then performed a Chinese Medical Exam. I was told things that were fine on my labs (per my PCP), where really not fine. Dr. Yarger told me I had a history of heart disease (I don't) and would have dementia in the next thirty years. Despite telling her I had a hysterectomy, she kept asking if I was pregnant. She told me she'd need me to get a neck x-ray prior to doing any acupuncture on me. She had the receptionist grab 4 "products" for me to buy and use prior to her treating me in the future. When I asked what was in them I was only told, "probiotics". The total would have been $125. I declined. I was charged $175 for the consult and didn't get acupuncture. Waste of time and money. Very misleading and dishonest practice.
