Janie Plaxco, MALPC

Blessing. That is the first word that comes to mind when I think of my family’s experience with Janie. Extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, very easy to talk to and always willing to help. She makes you feel very comfortable even when having to deal with difficult situations, circumstances or topics. I would and do highly recommend her for anyone looking for a counselor.

If you want to alienate a child from their father Janie Plaxco is the therapist for you. She along with my son's mother attempted to turn all of my children against me. My experience with her is she's never met a child that doesn't have a disorder and will make a perfectly normal/happy child question question everything about themselves, their upbringing and their respective parents. Ultimately, turning the child into an emotional wreck. Since my son has stopped talking to her he has finally returned to the normal rough/tough/happy little boy that he has always been. If you are a father going though a divorce and the other parent takes your children to Janie, fight it with all you've got because she will destroy your relationship and will refuse to talk to you (the father). I experienced this first hand. I absolutely do not recommend Janie Plaxco!! If I could give zero stars, I would.

Janie’s knowledge of and experience with children/ adolescents and their families is unsurpassed. She has helped our family more than any other therapist we have seen. I recommend her without reservation.

Janie knows what she is doing! She is the absolute best counselor and helped my daughter during some extremely difficult times. So happy to have found her!

I can't say enough great things about Janie. She is EXTREMELY helpful & knowledgeable. She has been spot on with identifying my step daughters issues and ways to correct them. I couldn't have found a better counselor for our family. Highly recommend!
