Dr. Jason Cavanaugh, OD

Dr. Cavanaugh is an outstanding professional who made my visit a positive experience and stress free. His knowledge and expertise were evident in the way he informed me about my eye care. I highly recommend Dr. Cavanaugh.

He used to be great, but overtime has turned unprofessional and rude. Be careful if you go here, especially if you have kids.

Awful customer service! He was very rude and will get irrationally angry at his patients in situations. He was unclear when I scheduled my appointment and I showed up and he wasn't there which was okay. I contacted him and he responded back by calling me difficult and telling me I was to challenging to make an appointment with. The only other time I adjusted an appointment was when I ended up needing surgery a week before my appointment and had to reschedule. A very unprofessional, strange man.

Jay is a great optometrist & human being, these reviews with negative condensations about his demeanor are ridiculous. Would absolutely go to again. Thank you for your professionalism and providing a great service.

Been seeing him for years. Always gets my prescription perfect.

He may be knowledgeable but terrible bedside manner! He is very condescending and loathes children-so if you don’t want your children yelled at by a complete stranger than do not bring your children with you-or just don’t go to him at all! He literally yelled at my children on two separate occasions that I HAD to go there! I will never go back and would not recommend this doctor!

Just had exam today. Can’t say enough Good things. Took his time. Honest and very professional. He is my new eye dr.

Not a good choice for a child’s examination. He belittled his 10 year old patient and accused her of ‘playing games’ during the vision chart test. She was very serious and was trying her best to keep up with his rapid fire instructions.

Great eye doctor . He makes vision appointments a joy. His one fault is that he enjoys Velveeta and that's disturbing.
