Dr. Jeannine Fowler, OD

Dr. Fowler was professional, courteous, and caring. She and her staff explained the purpose for what we were doing, the tests they were completing, and the equipment they were using. I was able to get timely appointments and a thorough response to my concerns. I am a seasonal resident in Florida and Dr. Fowler is willing to communicate with my optometirst in Ohio if needed, showing that she genuinely cares about my wellbeing.

The provider did not call our insurance to verify coverage and refused, on 3 occasions to verify the coverage. Thus we had to pay full price for both my husband and I. When I found out from the insurance company that we did have coverage ($25 deductible) Dr. Fowlers office continued to refuse to verify coverage with the insurance company. To date, we are still owed a refund. Additionally the person whom we have been speaking with in Dr. Fowlers office has much to learn about customer service and being pleasant or accommodating. They definitely do not care about customer service.

If you like challenges then this is the place to go. Not only do they over charge but glasses had to go back numerous times to get redone. Fighting with them each time. With insurance my annual eye exam with one pair glasses was almost $3,000; yes that’s not a type o.

Terrible experience. They billed as a emergency even though it was a scheduled annual exam. No eye issues at all just annual exam. All my years going to eye DR never had a exam billed so pricey. My insurance said not only billed as a emergency but she bills as a specialist. Which she is not. They are so over priced. If you need glasses you work with a older lady ( maybe drs mother) Mary. She’s tells you one thing but does different. Then will say I don’t remember telling you that. If you question her-she’s gets very defensive and rude. Glasses turned out terrible and oh so over priced. Asked to speak to dr and was told too busy to call me. Stay away from this place.

Very professional, efficient and comfortable. Dr. Fowler is very thorough in her testing and also very patient and caring. She, along with her staff, are very gracious and accommodating. I felt like I was in the hands of someone very knowledgeable that cared about my wellbeing. I recommend this practice very highly.

Dr Fowler has always been knowledgeable, professional and thorough. My wife and I have been seeing her for about four years.

Dr. Fowler was wonderful. She took the time to talk about my eye problem and even showed me pictures of the back of my eye. I have worn glasses all my life and have never seen that. I found my new eye doctor and send all my family members there.

I would advise friends and family to avoid this doctor based on my experience with this office and doctor.
