Unprofessional, Combative, and Dangerous
Beware of this man, and certainly don't be vulnerable around him. I could not endure Dr. Danco even more than 25 minutes of a joint session with Dr. Danco and a loved one. Dr. Danco hyper focused on discussing one point that was not even primarily about working through my relationship with my loved one (which is why I was there). I verbalized that I was feeling defensive which to any therapist should signal the patient feels unsafe. Rather than work to shift the discussion or diffuse the situation, he rudely pointed out how he could see I was feeling defensive.I tried on three more occasions to change the subject and focus on my relationship with my loved one, but he kept doubling down. Once he started to raise his voice at me and I pointed it out, he tried to tell me why he was having to raise his voice. This experience was nothing less than traumatic, and Dr. Danco only served to cause further harm and distance between my loved one and me.

Very rude. Never again will I subject myself to someone as disrespectful as this man. Avoid at all costs.

Disgusting, tries to convert others away from their true identity. Is not a professional counselor.

Arrogant. Does NOT listen AT ALL. Literally. All he does he act as though he's a teacher but does not listen to the issues.

The worst. Arrogant, lectures more than listens and forgets key issues you may have. I had to constantly remind him why I was there

I cannot more highly recommend Dr. Danco. I came to him dealing with issues of addiction. He helped me see things in a new light. He made examine my motives behind why I was doing the things I was doing. He encouraged me to join a peer-lead support group and formed another in-office support group that he lead. It was all good. He gave me ideas on ways to change my behavior. Best of all he wanted me to not be dependent on him or even the support group. He has been a blessing to me.
