Jeffrey Meyers, PA

I had the great misfortune of, not long ago, having Jeff as a healthcare provider. Despite the fact that he comes off as friendly and eager to help, what he really wants is to push his agenda, provide incomplete information (or, if he feels like it, no information), is combative/argumentative, and generally believes that his role as a PA entitles him to look down on his patients. I've found, over the years, that there are some providers who value patients that want to be involved their care, and there are those that don't. Jeff, on the other hand, created a third category wherein he actively derides and becomes angered when a patient attempts to research information and/or has questions for him. He literally told me that I "should take him at his word" regarding anything and everything he told me. HA! If ever there was a red flag, that is it! I would encourage you to work with literally any other person than Jeff.

Very poor experience with Jeff. Being on SSD for over 20 years due to SLE, Severe Fibro, Degenerative joint disease and a conetive tissue disorder means I'm a chronic pain patient. Jeff lied about the prescription he wrote, told us that we needed to come up with a financial plan because pain treatment costs money, refused to provide the cost of injections that he wanted to perform. Was rude, unhelpful, accusitory and seriously acted like he was to privaledged to deal with the little people.
