My oldest is now almost 23. Jenny was my cnm at the time I carried him. Others here have stated she can be strict and no nonsense. I found that to be true. Yet, her compassion and professionalism were never in question. Although she got sick at the time I went into labor and therefore couldn't be there, I was always satisfied with her care during the pregnancy. If I still lived in FL, when my daughter has a family eventually, I'd have no qualms to refer Kate to her. As a footnote, my ex and I became pregnant again, when my little boy was 3. I had a miscarriage, and as any know who have gone through it, there are no words. But, I saw Jenny again that time. Her professional care was outstanding. I'm now 55 and menopausal, so much older, and a lifetime removed, but this CNM left a positive enough impression on me, that I've never forgotten her. I realize that anything can go wrong at any given time, but in my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend her now.

This is one amazing woman.. She went above and beyond with my oldest due to me losing my first baby and assured me at each visit of my baby's health and well being.. She was so kind and compassionate as well as other staff she worked with. She delivered both of my older daughters! I would recommend her to anyone and even though my oldest is 16.. I still talk about her and recommend her to EVERYONE is talk to!

Jenny Allen is strict, but that doesn't mean she's bad in any way! I wanted a home birth and since that wasn't an option for us we went with Jenny. I am SO happy that we did! Our son was in wonderful hands and when we have another little one on the way I am confident that Jenny will be the best choice once again!

I found Jenny about 12 weeks into my 2nd pregnancy, first born baby. She is strict but only wants the best for her patient and their babies. She has become a lifeline in my life and I wouldn't have anyone else delivering my babies. She's been there through 4 of my pregnancies and two miscarriages and she's provided everything I expected and more during those difficult times. She has become a family member and I even have her personal cell number because she genuinely cares that much about her patients. She answers all of my over-reactive questions and makes sure I stay on track for a healthy pregnancy. She was amazing during my labor and I fully trusted her to get my baby here and in a healthy condition. I had a terrible pregnancy with our first born but she defiantly made it much easier for us. I'm 7 months pregnant at the moment and don't recommend anyone else! Once she stops practicing I will be done having babies, as I don't trust anyone during this special time. She's #1 to me!

Jenny was my midwife for my second pregnancy. I didn't care for her harsh tone at times and I didn't find her very personable. I only went with her because she is the only option for a hospital based midwife who adheres to the midwifery model of care. I was very dissatisfied with how she handled the pushing phase of labor. I believe in mother-directed pushing, however when it came time to push she was yelling. I still recommend her because there is no other option and she is better than an OB.

I'm on baby three with Ms. Allen and I couldn't recommend her more highly. She is a fierce advocate for her patients and incredibly good at delivering babies. I highly highly recommend.

She makes you feel like she's known you forever and was everything I had hoped for in a mid wife. I have recommended her to everyone I know that is pregnant.
