I found her approach to therapy insulting and unhelpful. She takes an authoritative approach because people with OCD clearly can't make good decisions and even told my spouse to ignore me when I expressed anxiety, thereby undermining my autonomy and the respect I deserve in marriage. She lacks compassion. She thinks her patients should all be treated the same way, even when her ocd textbook approach is not working and not one size fits all. I still cringe thinking about her and it's been years since I paid way too much to be way too insulted.
