Jennifer Carlock, NP

I saw Ms. Carlock after a long time without insurance. I was diagnosed 9 yrs ago with hypothyroidism and was eager to get back on my meds after a year without them. She ordered labs, and when they came back she said my thyroid was fine. I was shocked because hypothyroidism is a lifelong disorder that doesn't just go away. She didn't prescribe my meds. I went to another NP in town who ordered labs. I got my results back today. Not only do I still have hypothyroidism, I have Hoshimoto's Disease, an autoimmune disorder that attacks the thyroid. She put me back in my meds.When I was seeing Ms. Carlock, she would ask how I was doing with my depression and anxiety meds. I told her that I had been on the same dosage for several years and that due to life changes, I was struggling with depression again. She just nodded, but didn't offer to change my meds or try to find a solution. I told the same thing to my new NP, and she added a small dose of another medication. It has helped.

My Dr. moved away so I went to Dr. Jennifer Carlock for two visits. First visit I sat waiting in back room for 45 min before she walked in!! Then after they drew blood, NO ONE told me to leave..so after 50 min. of waiting I asked a nurse what am I waiting on and she said they should have told me I was done! Three months later went back for my check up and sat in back room for 1 hour 50 min.!!! Yes you read that correctly, ONE HOUR 50 Min!!! Her excuse? "Monday's we are busy." NEVER AGAIN!
