I arrived at the pain center in Spring Hill at my appointment time. I was going to request trigger point shots because my shoulders and neck muscles were stressed causing me great pain. I never got that far. The other nurse at the center and I were in a closed door. After taking my blood pressure she wanted me to verbal go over my meds. I gave them a list and was there before. I wanted to tell her of the one change that was made. She was obviously annoyed at me because I don’t know the generic names. She reprimanded me for this. After a few words NP Reprimanded me for what she called “lighting into her nurse” she got up opened the door stated in a high Voice announced to everybody she was discharging me and open the door for me to leave. I was so vulnerable and in pain, I could not defend myself. I left completely humiliated and in tears. I am still wondering, how it became about them. I have never been treated so poorly. I am a 81 year old.
