I was going through a lot when I reached out to this therapist and although he was very kind and professional over the phone - he pretty much blew me off once I mentioned a previous diagnosis and made it feel like I wasn’t worth helping until I was fixed or medicated first. Made me feel foolish for reaching out and felt so discouraged. I was hoping for at least an intake session or perhaps passing me along to someone else who was more willing to help and/or be able to prescribe the meds that I may have needed. Something. I hope others don’t feel this way when reaching out.
