I began going to Jess after a very traumatic experience of watching my husband suffocate to death. It was an acute pulmonary embolism, and the EMTs couldn't save him. Adding to the trauma was that my 18 year son watched, too. As a widow, as time went by, I kept getting worse until I went to see Jess. It took a long time for me to process and to begin to heal, but Jess never got tired of listening to me. I went to see him for seven years. I credit him with saving my life. Jess knew what to do to get me through the "dark times", even going so far as a suicide attempt, but today, I am whole again. I love my life and feel blessed. I have been back a couple of times, just to check in (over a twenty year period), just for a "tune-up" and because I genuinely like Jess as a person. Truly, I would encourage anyone who is feeling that life is "too hard" to handle alone, to call Jess. He was so gentle with me. I will never forget what he did for me. I am forever grateful.

I would highly recommend Dr. Soulia! He is compassionate and caring. He is very easy to talk to and is great at getting you to express your feelings and not feel judged. Another wonderful quality Dr. Soulia has is that he is a Christian. If you want that part in your counseling he is willing to share his beliefs with you but only if you express that to him, it is never forced. This by far has been the best counseling I have every received.
