Jessica Campbell, PA

I went to Dr. Campbell for a severe cut across a joint in my finger. Her bedside manner left nothing to be desired. She grew increasingly annoyed as the pain resulted in me naturally withdrawing/hesitating. She was not caring, understanding, or nurturing. She repeatedly pulled at it unprovoked, scolded me, rolled her eyes, huffed & puffed… & I was hardly difficult, doing everything she asked. I have a high pain tolerance & quickly accepted the numbing shot. She told me it wasn’t that bad, she saw this all the time & it wasn’t a big deal. I told her I’d had cuts on my hands/fingers many times before but this felt much different from anything before. I was profusely sweating & had an excruciating pain radiating all the way up my arm. I expressed worry about long term nerve damage & asked about seeing a specialist, which she passed off as ridiculous. 2 years later- I have a huge cyst-like scar & have never regained any feeling in my finger, completely numb to this date.
