I love this place, having been going for years! Dr. Spearing is awesome, she listens and gave me some really great advice on eye care and eye bag reduction. It worked Doc:). Overall, I love going there and as long as they are open for business, I will continue to go there!

Excellent eye care provider and location

Dr Spearing was knowledgeable, detail oriented, helpful, and friendly. She paid particular attention to my eye that had a previous malignant melanoma. She was skilled and answered my questions.

I went in for my annual eye exam. They were very thorough and friendly The office was very organized, clean, and cheerful.

Ocean Eye’s staff, as always, was on point. I’ve recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (Sjögren’s) that affect’s my eyes and the quality of my vision. The disease also affects me systemically. Because of this, Dr. Spearing asked for my rheumatologist’s name so she could call him and together they came up with a treatment plan both short and long term. When I’ve called in distress from eye pain, Ocean Eye has had me come in immediately when I’ve needed help. Dr. Spearing has made sure to stay on top of my eye health and is very receptive in hearing about any issues I’m having and treating my eyes accordingly. If it’s not her particular “wheel house” she’s referred me to a specialist who’s familiar with my symptoms. The staff is always courteous and genuinely seems to care about their patients. My family of 5 have all been patients of Ocean Eye over the years - and we will continue to be - because of their professionalism, knowledge and care. Thank you Ocean Eye!

The visit was short and sweet. My time was valued. The doctor explained new routines that I never experienced. I appreciate interests in teaching me something new.

It was an easy appt. In and out in less than 30 min. All of my expectations were met!

I went to Dr. Spearing for a 2nd opinion for my blurry vision. She took the time to ask detailed questions & came up with an option for treatment to first help the blurry vision and then help correct it.

Visited Ocean Eye on Trolley Road. It was great to be able to fill out 90% of the paperwork beforehand from home. Plus I received numerous text reminders about my upcoming appointment. Can never get too many! All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Good listeners. Handled all insurance matters smoothly. Great to have the Optomat for the retinal scan. Dr. Spearing was extremely nice, unhurried, asked many questions, listened to my needs and offered great suggestions. She sent me home with her comments written down for future reference. I am quite happy I chose Ocean Eye for my vision needs.

I have been to most of the Ocean Eye locations and the staff is always nice, and pleasant to speak with. I was also in and out quickly, which is important to me.
