Terrible therapist, avoid at all costs
My husband and I had several sessions with Jo Ellen, during which she was confrontational and defensive with my husband. Despite having only a few sessions, she directly advised us to dissolve our marriage or separate without having worked with us at all to give us tools to move forward. We were both in very transitional difficult places and ultimately she discontinued sessions without appropriate communication. It was very difficult for us to seek therapy and this was the worst possible outcome. I advise anyone to stay far away from her.
