My 15 month old had fevers for 6 days increasingly higher each day with a progressing productive cough. Our pediatrician recommended we go to urgent care as they were booked and said beyond 4 days was too long for a fever without evaluation. So following the pediatricians recommendation we did just that. Joanna was dismissive of our concerns and she disregarded any input on how our children behave when sick as though we were silly for bringing them in for evaluation. As a nurse myself I would never treat a patients concerns as though they did not warrant further evaluation let alone a parents perspective as they’re the ones that know their children best. Shame on you for forgetting the core of why you became a nurse. You’ve lost your bedside manner and treated my husband and children as though their concerns did not matter. I’d rather drive further and avoid her at all cost .
