I had to wait several weeks for wait for an appointment, but a short wait time on the day of the appointment. Telehealth only. I made it into the session 6 minutes, but once she learned I was not on medication (which I had disclosed in my patient paperwork, which she obviously didn’t bother to read) she abruptly ended the session and said she was not be a good fit but gave no reason why. When asked for a referral to another therapist, she ignored the question and only asked for payment for the full session, which only lasted 6 minutes. She asked for payment on three separate occasions within a week as well. I’ve never experienced such a horrible therapy session. I needed to talk to someone and had the courage to ask for help only to be turned away because she didn’t agree with my choices for medication (which my GP does agree with and that is HER swim lane). She showed a complete lack of compassion and professionalism.
