misdiagnosed me with autism (without doing tests, mind you! just diagnosed me with it because it was something i had been worried about) and told me i had focal seizures, prompting multiple neurology visits, only to be told there wasnt anything because there WASNT. did not realize it was dissociation when it was textbook, and overall made my condition worse and it took years to unlearn all of the bad habits i had been validated on and learned while under her guidance and care.

Dr. Tello gave her time for 7 years with little payments from Medicare to help me with my mental health issues. She is tolerant of others and understanding. She helped me through a lot with great advice and counseling that changed my life. I will always be grateful for her gift.
