Dr. Joel Kahane, PHD

Getting to know Dr. Kahane has been a delight. He was the one who first discovered a problem I had that was life-threatening, and he stayed in touch with me through the whole process and beyond, calling after surgery to see that I was okay. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. He's thorough and so extremely kind and patient, cheerful and supportive. He made a frightening experience so much better. He clearly loves his work, the science of it, as well as helping people. I am pleased to say that he deserves my highest recommendation.

As an outside observer, this so called rating system is not fair to the physicians. In Doctor Kahane's case, it should be noted that he has spent his entire life studying the human speech physiology and is one of the best of the leaned persons to perform his expertise. Anyone avoiding his services is handicapping themselves and depriving themselves of the best of care.

I took m son to Dr. Kahane , he's got Parkinson and have a speech problem This Dr. was so through, undertanding , patient that I could not believe we had a wonderful visit compared to some of our other doctors visits.

Dr. Kahane has worked with my child since she came home from China. She was born with cleft lip and palate. He has provided letters that have helped in her school based speech therapy and also has been very helpful to me as I work with her at home. He is a part of her cleft team but also sees her privately.

He took pictures the entire time Dr. Beakford was examining me. Was very insistent that I sign up for speech therapy for a scratchy throat.
