Completely unprofessional
Today I was supposed to have a 15 minute “pre-meet” with Dr. John. 8 minutes after our scheduled time, still no call. When I called Dr. John and informed him he is late for our call he said, “Sorry I was talking to an insurance company. How can I help you?” I didn’t have these 15 minutes to spare at the time THEY insisted on. Dr. John seemed unaware he even had an appointment. From there I couldn’t understand anything he said because the phone system they use has broken sound. Oh course Dr. John blamed my line. I hang up and call back. This time I get the receptionist. Sound is still an issue. Receptionist confirms it is a known issue with the online phone system they use. Additionally, she could not transfer me to Dr. John even though this was the line I called them on before. In the end I lost 30 minutes out of my day that I did not have. The problems I was seeking help for were heightened from this experience. I now need to wait weeks again to see a therapist. Do not use.
