John was very professional and helpful to my mother during her recovery process. He encouraged her to practice her exercises. He made her feel confident , which has helped to improve her overall mobility. This has helped our family because it has given her confidence in regaining her independence!

John was assigned to me to help get my mobility back after a prolonged stay at a rehab center. Being 89 yrs old and set in my ways I was not enthusiastic about doing my daily exercises. His encouragement and patience enabled me to perform those exercises and see the importance to help me improve. His suggestions regarding home safety issues were welcomed. Thank you John.

John Hlasney was assigned as my post-op at-home physical therapist, and he was a huge help in my recuperation process. The exercises he prescribed, with additions and modifications along the way, helped me progress quickly. He’s also an excellent communicator and teacher, clearly explaining the reasons for the various exercises and answering questions about the surgery and the recovery process. Best of all, he’s a terrific cheerleader, offering encouragement and celebrating successes along the way. He easily conveys to his patients that he’s “in it” with them, and that kind of support makes a huge difference in recuperating quickly. I’m very grateful for his excellent care!

John was prompt, professional and encouraging . I am happy to report that his regimen of exercises post hip surgery were the foundation for my speedy recovery. I am thankful that he continued to challenge me to do a little more with every visit.

John was very encouraging during the early difficult days right after surgery. He worked with me to get to the goal of 90° range if motion, 2 weeks post op. Very firm, but works with you if you have a bad day.

My husband is a complicated case and English is not his first language. John is very firm while being encouraging and really inspires my husband to do more than he thinks he can. He is very nice and disarming while being sure to underscore the benefits of keeping up with the exercises. I am very grateful for his expertise and help!

John is the best physical therapist I have ever had, and I have had many over the years. He knew what I could do and he encouraged me to do it. I'm still doing exercises and feeling stronger all the time. I made better progress at home with John than at inpatient facilities I have been to. He also has a good sense of humor and a great handshake.
