My family had the very unfortunate opportunity to work with John Moran’s group. Judith Lewis-Thome was absolutely biased to the party that was paying her. I know my nephews told her multiple times of being fearful and asked her to please help them not to have to spend time with their abusive biological father. She disregarded their feelings completely and wrote reports that favored the father and his family because they were writing the checks. She also used the court to stop the children from seeing their current therapist because that therapist disagreed with Judith’s teams conclusions! She made them feel totally helpless with no care for them. My nephews are currently in a terrible situation because of her and her team. The court system in Arizona is causing irreparable harm to families and they are being derelict in their duties to the families of Phoenix by continuing to use this joke of a team. Don’t waste your time or your $ on John Moran or any of his affiliates.

NO! I would recommend him to no one. There were several visits, with all family members, when immediately, we as a family became distant, hostile and argumentative . I would recommend Dr Moran, who is a Psychopath, to a Federal Penitentiary.

I liked him. He did his job and his secretary was nice. Not sure why he has so many negative review on here? My guess is that in custody battles usually only one side comes out ahead. Also, I'm sure Dr. Moran works with some pretty CRAZY people.

Dr. Moran was our therapist for personal and family issues, and he did a wonderful job. As a psychologist myself, I was able to appreciate his significant skills at helping people redefine their situations so that they could solve problems, rather than fight uselessly. He was supportive, caring, and able to call a spade a spade when necessary.
