I have found Dr. Rochios to be an excellent therapist. He really listens and hears not only what is verbalized but what a patient isn't saying. He is frank yet compassionate, not afraid to point out what behavior a person needs to work on to improve their life and mental health. There are so many issues that we, in society, are afraid to share with those people in our lives. You can tell him anything and not be judged.

I saw him around career issues. Lots of trauma in my family. He seemed nice and compassionate but sometimes his comments (for example, about how "fat" women smell) were offensive. He talked about how his son - who was an opera singer - brought throat cancer on himself. That was just bizarre. I also didn't like that he smoked cigarettes standing at the sliding glass door during my sessions. He is a therapist so why could he not control his dependency for one hour? He sometimes used humor to make his point with you that could be biting. Knowing what I know now about what is acceptable behavior, I would have stopped my sessions much earlier.
