I found Jolene to be an unsafe practitioner. She initiated our counseling relationship with a well of empathy, kindness and praise for my participation as her client. But after months of working together, she out of the blue began to react to my personal sharing with judgment and hostility - which I would imagine is one of the first things someone studying to become a therapist is taught to avoid. I ended up feeling like I was witnessing someone encounter their own demons - and project them onto me. I strongly recommend seeking a different therapist.
