Dr. Jon Shanklin, DPT

For the past 5 years after I have spent my life savings on treatments for my ailments and been to countless doctors (100 plus) I've been told many things are in my head when I really have a legitimate issue. Doctor Shanklin validated my concerns and came up with a strategy and realistic goals to help me conquer the chronic pain and flesh prison I call my body. He is also hilarious and breaks down concepts in easy to understand bits. Protect this man at all costs and put him on the cover of TIME magazine. Before I left my appointment he printed out a list of EDS fellowship trained PTs in my area. This might be something small to other people but for someone with chronic fatigue this means a lot because it's one less task on the long list of things I have to follow up with. It also means that I'll be setup with someone trained to work with my condition. I'm so very happy that I went to this appointment and it was well worth the 4 hour drive there and 4 hour drive back.
