Over Medicates, Doesn't Listen
Jona is nice enough but she does not listen to what ((I)) want and over-medicates. She seems to prefer treating symptoms over the cause. She does not connect the dots with health issues, meaning, I have ZERO medical school training yet have self-diagnosed issues that went right over her head. Once complained about my low energy levels along with 24-7 menstural bleeding for several weeks. She referred me to the bariatric center and told me to keep taking my medications. Saw Jona again few weeks later still feeling cruddy – not until I asked to check for anemia that she finally ordered labs (yes, I was severely anemic). Worse, Jona never referred me to an OB-GYN to investigate the bleeding issue further (went on my own volition and they found polyps inside my uterus). I have told Jona over and over again that I am NOT interested in going under the knife for bariatric surgery until all other hormonal issues have been ruled out but she will not run a full hormone panel. Frustrating.
