Jonathan Meriwether, PA-C

Jonathan Meriether is excellent at his job. I have seen him numerus times with pain in my knees and shoulders in the past 6-7 years. He is the best at injections. Jonathan takes his time, very knowledgeable, friendly and easy going gentleman. He basically, put you at ease and listen to your concerns well. I always try to see him, even though I have many doctors in this practice. I could go to other locations, but because of the comfort level and confidence that I have with Jonathan, I choose to drive an hour to see him for my care. Also his team and RNs are very friendly and helpful. In general he is that good !!!

He's good at knee injections and not much else. Would not recommend him to my enemies. It is easy to get an appointment with him. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have many repeat patients. His examinations were cursory. He didn't read my history. He doesn't fill out paperwork or reply to messages. Doesn't seem very knowledgeable about orthopedics.

Made judgements about my physical condition without touching me or looking at my history. My dog does examinations better than this guy. Don't waste you're time.

He seemed like he did not know at all what he was talking about and he was rushing because I was the last patient on a Saturday. When I told him I was in pain causing me to not be able to sleep he assumed that I was just asking for pain meds. After that, he basically told me I was faking the pain and that I just slept on my neck wrong. I wasn’t even asking about neck pain, I was asking about a shoulder issue. I got a second opinion, and I had a torn rotator cuff muscle. Rude and incompetent PA.

Dr. Meriether is excellent. I have seen him several times with pain in my knee. He is the best at injections . Takes his time, easy going gentleman. I do not want to see anyone else in this practice unless they are as good as him, which I am sure their are others, but I guess I am selfish. It also helps to know he graduated from Lipscomb. I drive an hour to see him as my doctor,since I live so far away from his office. He's that good !!!
