Joey is not just a counselor to me, he is a good friend. I didn't know him before my 1st appointment in 2014 and RIGHT after that 1st appointment I formed the opinion that 'GOOD' IS, IN FACT JOEY SMITH. HE is like a light that I've been fortunate enough to know for the last 10 years.(will be 11 this year). I visit him every other week and I MAY have rescheduled ONCE since 2014. I don't know if I've said it directly to him or not (I will tho) ..Joey has SAVED MY LIFE. He's as down to Earth and GENUINE as anyone could ask for. Everyone has heard the phrase 'there's always room for improvement'..Well, I will testify in open court,under oath, that with Joey THERE IS NO ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT. HE IS AT THE PINNACE of his career! He is THE VERY BEST!!

Joey is an intelligent therapist who has a wide knowledge of psychological therapies. He shows the greatest respect and regard for his clients and their families and loved ones. He always goes beyond the extra mile to meet with all who need professional care with his sincere concern and loving support.

It’s like meeting a friend to talk, you’ll feel at home, and being located in the hospital helps with those that want to be discreet. He is honest and without judgement. He is one of the most caring people I have ever met. Joey will do anything for the people of Cochran. It’s his home too. He is a great role model and is also great with children. I recommend Joey to everyone. Even when my depression and anxiety aren’t giving me problems, I still go see Joey, because it just doesn’t feel right going too long without seeing a friend.
