I’ve been with Joshonda for an under a year and I have nothing but good things to say. I was nervous I’m the beginning because this is a very new experience for me however, she is very personable and easy to talk to making this experience extremely easy and comfortable.

She doesn’t not listen. She is dismissive. And literally wrote up a summary saying exactly what I discussed with her was not the issue as the issue. If I have a history in therapy that dates far beyond Covid and I can tell you what triggered the need to speak with someone, hypersensitivity to the treatment of black people in America and working in a corporate environment with oblivious executives exclusively, why would you write up my issue as being Covid related. She advised me that work is not the place to discuss race. Are we back on the plantation? And she also told me it wasn’t my place to work to make people understand what the experience is like to be black working with executives who appear to not be able to curb their entitlement during a pandemic, and a potentially historic movement for humanity in the world. I would not recommend this young lady unless this is the kind of therapist you work well with. Call me for $80 bucks and I can tell you to get over it just as easily.
