Upon my appointment with her I found myself being incredibly rushed. I was trying to give my answers to her background, childhood questions she asked about as brief as possible but it still didn’t seem like enough as the appointment was 15 minutes with constant interruptions, their telehealth zoom setup was failing constantly so appointment was more like 10 minutes at best.I zoom with my now current therapist every week with NO issues whatsoever she tried blaming it on me when it wasn’t on my end and when I was trying to explain my symptoms she didn’t seem to show much care, and when I explained I do mindfulness and grounding techniques and they simply have not worked, Her solution was to just keep trying it and we’ll get you set up on these medicationsI didn’t feel comfortable at all accepting medication from someone who wasn’t listening to me and the total appointment time was roughly 10 minutes as I explained above. She lacks empathy and communication skills.

Joycy's approach was dismissive and unhelpful. She failed to refill my medications that she prescribed me, even after multiple attempts to reach her, leaving me to deal with severe withdrawal symptoms. Her advice for panic attacks showed her lack of understanding and compassion. She seemed unfamiliar with ADHD, how to talk to patients, and with basic mental healthcare.
