Had a recurring nagging issue that I thought might be an UTI but did not resolve with antibiotics. Went into see her in Urgent Care. Specimen did not show any issue but I she had several tests run on me including an x-ray and still not evident. Has me on a list of things to investigate with my PCP, including a hospitalization for a full work-up. She is cheerful, caring and supportive.

Provider ordered 12 lead for ECG and it was collected for my mother AS she was throwing up. This person does not know what a vasovagal response during emesis is. Her heart rate was 44 during emesis and this provider FREAKED out and asked for an ambulance to take us to the ED. I don’t trust a provider who doesn’t know what a vasovagal response is. Her heart rate was consistently 70-80’s before she was throwing up and still is after. Also my mom was sleepy - she had been up all night having bowel movements. Because my mom was sleepy and tired, the provider gave her a GCS of 4. My mother was sleepy NOT comatose or neurologically declining. Didn’t order any labs besides a blood sugar which was perfectly fine. All other vital signs were completely stable. Talk about jumping the gun. We didn’t go to the ED. We just scheduled an appointment with her primary care physician. This is why people do not trust mid-level providers.

Julia is the sweetest & most caring PA. Her & her team are beyond the best. They truly take the time & care for their patients. we had my daughter at a diff hospital the day before without success. Julia knew there was more going on by just looking at her . She even called to check on my daughter the next day & give more meds to help her recovery . Thank you to all the nurses & especially Al for getting the IV of fluids going for her. All on Christmas Day. So thank you for being there to give my daughter the care she needed. Absolutely the best!
