I was referred to OIP Physical therapy in July 2021 by my doctor for issues with lower back pain. My problem started in 1990 in the Army with an injury to my lower back and it's gotten significantly worse over the last couple years. I was assigned to Dr. Juliana Shuty and her team at OIP and I couldn't be happier with the results. They are all very friendly and caring. The initial assessment was thorough and I left that first day with cautious confidence that this was going to help me. I graduated today, many sessions later, and I feel so much better. I'm stronger overall and my back pain is significantly less due to the exercise program I am on (the remaining part of my problem is arthritis which can't be fixed). Dr. Shuty also gave me an exercise plan to use going forward so I can prevent injury in the future. I am so thankful to the whole team there; they really know their stuff. If you are in need of PT, I highly recommend Dr. Shuty.
