Julie Burke, PMHCNS

I’ve struggled over the last decade with many, many similar type medications. When I finally got in touch with Julie, she knew within 5 mins that I needed a different type of medicine. I’ve been seeing her regularly ever since and I’ve never felt better. I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs help navigating complex issues. She and her staff are friendly and professional.

I have struggled with my illness for many years. I've seen countless doctors who treated me like I didn't matter. I was in a very dark place when Julie was recommended to me. Julie takes TIME to listen. She goes above and beyond to do what's best for YOU! I've seen Julie now for 5 years. She recently moved her office to Newnan and to tell the truth I would follow her anywhere. She is kind, understanding, professional and really has a genuine concern for you. I feel that she literally saved my life. I highly recommend Julie Burke.

I feel very comfortable with Julie Burke. She listens and allows me the time to share what I am ready to share. She does not push me or cross what I consider boundaries. She offers her opinions and professional help when she feels I need the help. Together we solve the way I see problems. I don't trust easily but I trusted her the first day. It's hard to find anyone like her. I'm not just a patient but a person to her.

I've suffered from major depression for about 50 years, and have tried so many medications I've lost count. Life was a difficult and miserable daily challenge. Ms. Burke, because she listens so well and is so competent, put me on a new medication that relieved my depression for the first time in many many years. I am inexpressibly grateful to her.

Julie is fantastic. Knowledge, caring and a great mental health provider. I wish she had different office staff. The office staff are rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and generally extremely difficult to work with. There are very limited mental health providers which provides patients with limited options. If I could transfer my daughter elsewhere I would due to the staff.

I am a veteran of the military and law enforcement for over 30 years which has left me with some PTSD symptoms. Julie Burke was like a breath of fresh air. She LISTENED to what I had to say and asked all the right questions. She showed genuine concern even though I’m sure she has to get burned out on occasion too. I highly recommend her. My visits have been very timely and pleasant.

Ms. Burke is a caring practitioner who works hard to improve patient care. She was patient with my son the entire time that she saw him (and he can be difficult). Due to circumstances beyond her control, I won't be able to see her anymore. I just wish that she worked for a different doctor. It's hard to find a good psychiatrist who treats adults in the west Georgia region.

Julie is not only very professional and knowledgeable, but she is also warm and personable. She has been treating my daughter for a long time and can't imagine having to settle for anybody else. I am thrilled with the way she has worked with my little girl to get her healthy. She takes the time to ask questions and actually listens to the answers. She doesn't just use a lot of big words, she also uses a lot of good ol fashioned common sense! That's a dying art! I really like Julie!
