Dr. Justin-Veni Echague, OD

This doctor saw me as a virtual visit after my original doctor did not come in for the day. When he went over the findings and I asked clarifying questions, he became increasingly condescending and acted as if I was stupid when he never actually explained what the test results were and what they meant. He told me I was going blind and when informed of my situation with my higher education that required me to go back to another state, he said it was uncommon and strange. He also indicated that I better hope I could find someone willing to take me with all that I had going on. After he signed off, the air was tense, and I was left in tears. His bedside manner is nonexistent, and I would not wish his "expertise" or "advisory" on my worst enemy. Perhaps he had a terrible attitude due to the proximity to the holiday weekend, but he treated me like an annoying inconvenience barely worthy of his time.
