Horrendous Experience
Karen talked about herself for the duration of my first few appts and was very disinterested to hear about me. She also made biting comments enforcing her political opinions, shaming those that disagreed with her (which I very much did, but she wouldn't know that because she did not ask me about my beliefs.) She also ended the appts by opening the door a few minutes prior to the session ending and standing by it until I left, which was so rude. She did not even try to wrap up verbally beforehand - she just opened the door and stared at me like I had overstayed my welcome. I am a shy, quiet person... I have dealt with a lot of trauma (with a capital T) in my life and she was so harmfully flippant about my concerns. It took me a few sessions (I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt) before I got the courage to cease working together. She followed up with a harassing email about payment almost immediately because HER credit card machine broke. DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR MENTAL HEALTH!
