Dr. Karla Reinhart, DNP

I seen her once as I was looking for a provider knowledgeable about HRT and its use treating and preventing osteoporosis. I had been using this therapy for years and had done extensive research on its use. This provider admitted she had limited knowledge of HRT and had no interest in continuing my treatment, so she got paid for answering my question truthfully and I continued my search. I wish providers were required to share in a pamphlet what exactly their experience and knowledge is so we patients don't waste our time or money. I realize most medicine being practiced here in the US Healthcare system is 15 years behind current science. Searching for a provider aware of new science in the treatment I prefer makes my quest very daunting.

She's stubborn and impersonable period she changes medications without notify the patient, cannot read drug report. Make me feel like an addict. She comes across as having to be always correct. And will use things you say, against you. In the 2 weeks that I have a new provider, he has ordered tests, change drugs and basically did everything that Carla did not in the year that I knew her period she gave up on me, the man I crossed her. I'M GLAD I AM NOT HER PATIENT ANYMORE.

New Patients beware!!!! Karla is extremely inflexible. You should find yourself another provider!!! We had to wait 3 months to get an appointment. We drove 40 minutes to get into her office. Google got us lost on the way there, I called into the office 15 minutes before our visit and the front office walked us how to get to her office. We walked in 3 minutes after our appointment time and Karla turned us away. I'm not sure what kind of a doctor doesn't understand what it means to be human, but I can't imagine she's a very good one.

I had my 15-year-old autistic brother-in-law, my 2-year-old son, and my 2-week-old son with me. We drove 45 minutes to get to my youngest boy’s PKU/2 week appointment from Grants Pass. I just got out of the hospital a few days prior recovering from major surgery. I was TWO minutes late and Karla wouldn’t see my newborn baby for the very important PKU test. I explained my circumstances and that there was heavy traffic and she showed no sympathy. I had to go in to get the PKU paperwork packet from the office and I let them have it. Shame on them for showing no compassion over 2 minutes!! Then Karla came out to get me to shut up probably and said she would see my son for his PKU but we would need to reschedule the 2 week part of the appointment. She cares more about her agenda and getting people in and out than our children. No way do I recommend anybody take their child to her.

I am so happy to have her as my Dr. She really cares and listens She is thorough and very personable. She talks to you, not at you. Everyone in her office is friendly and professional. Her patient rooms are warm and not clinical feeling. I spent years going to Drs that didn't really listen. I have Fibromyalgia and she understood. She is also great with kids.
